Our mission at Hounds Town Charities is to rehabilitate and train society’s abandoned or unwanted animals with the
ultimate goal of helping the sick and disabled. We provide disabled or homebound veterans, law enforcement agents,
firefighters and heroic citizens with companion animals properly-suited to fit their needs and lifestyle. Our focus is on
disabilities that are frequently overlooked; emotional or psychological injuries such as PTSD, depression or addiction.
Approximately 2 million dogs are euthanized at shelters every year. Many of these dogs can be transformed to serve a
greater good. Hounds Town Charities is not a traditional rescue group. We are committed to rehabilitating unwanted
and abandoned dogs, thereby bridging the gap from rescue to adoption. |
