Changing the World
Approximately 2 million dogs are euthanized at shelters every year—dogs that can be transformed to serve a greater good if only they had the chance. Similarly, there are so many disadvantaged people and children in the world who could benefit from the companionship of a dog.
Hounds Town Charities is not a traditional rescue group. We are committed to rehabilitating unwanted and abandoned dogs, thereby bridging the gap from rescue to adoption. We are committed to aiding those dogs labeled the most difficult to adopt because of misunderstood behavior issues and offering them a second chance at life. We cannot do this without your help.

FIONA
Fiona was only a tiny pup when she was saved by a local rescue group from a life of dog fighting and neglect. After hearing her story, Hounds Town Charities offered to foster Fiona and provide her with rehabilitation training and socialization. Fiona was adopted several months later, and she now lives the life every dog deserves.
